Christchurch buskers festival kicked arse. We spent an evening watching a comedy show in a pub, then the next whole day watching comedians, jugglers and acrobats, then that evening we watched another comedy & acrobat show.

The Hanmer hot springs were very hot! Especially since we visited them on the first hot day we've experienced so far in New Zealand.

Whale watching was bloody amazing! Sperm whales are huge and when their tales go up in the air it's one of the coolest things you'll ever see.

Wow, I can't really tell how big the whales are but I assume they are massive! And I see that you've finally had to get your fleeces out in New Zealand - we've had a fair bit of snow but it probably is nothing compared to the non minty glaciers. Poor Chicken..Does he not have a companion now?

Aussie Bob is an Australian, so he's staying in Australia. He may fly out to visit Chicken at some point. We've worn fleeces about every other day in New Zealand, and our waterproofs a few times as well. Good to hear from you.
